What to bring to your Leech Lake Cabin?  At Adventure North Resort in Walker, MN, we make your arrival as simple as ‘checking into home’ by providing all the comforts needed for your relaxing vacation.   All kitchens are fully equipped with updated cookware, dishware and Mr. Coffee coffee pot.  Bed linens and kitchen towels are provided in each Minnesota lake cabin.

All lake homes have flat screen TV and DirecTV with HBO although if a DVD player with movies are your thing, go ahead and bring them.  Each lake home also has one box fan, if you should need more please bring along your fan.

At this time, we will not be providing your bath towels or mat,  hand and  towels.We know what an important service this has been in the past and apologize for the inconvenience.  Please plan for all guests to bring their own bath towels and mats, hand towels and face clothes.  We will provide kitchen towels, hot pads and a Scotch rite sponge.

  • Saturday check-in after 4 pm and check out before 9 am.

  • Heritage lake home Saturday check in is after 5 pm and check out before 9 am.

No early arrivals allowed on resort grounds.  Please plan your travel time to arrive at the appropriate time.

Steve’s Bait Shop sells unleaded and premium non-ethanol fuel.  There is a variety of  minnows, leech and nightcrawlers along with tackle for sale and an assortment of ice cream and snacks.

We offer a coin operated washer and dryer on the resort grounds. Please bring any laundry soaps and supplies you might need. We do not sell detergent at the resort.

Wireless internet access is available from the lake homes.

Don’t worry about packing the little things, we also provide:

  • All kitchen soaps and Bath soap bars
  • TP
  • Garbage bags
  • Mr. Coffee coffee pot and filters
  • Toaster
  • Cookware, dishware and utensils.
  • A Weber charcoal grill

What to bring to your Leech Lake cabin:

  • Salt and Pepper
  • Paper towels and napkins
  • Kleenex tissues
  • Pump Hand Soap and Hand Sanitizer
  • Bath towels and mat, face and hand towels
  • Electric griddles for pancakes, etc.
  • Blender or food processor
  • Crock Pot
  • Charcoal and Lighter Fluid
  • Laundry detergent and supplies
  • Extra Fans
  • Puzzles, games and cards
  • Bug Spray
  • Lake shoes, the beach is sandy although pebbly when entering the water

What to bring for your pets:

  • Food and Water Bowls
  • Leash
  • Clean up bags
  • Kennel if pet is left in the cabin alone
  • Signed rental agreement from Adventure North Resort should be on file

Pets are welcome in the lake homes with the  pet fee of $20/day or $100/week.  This is a charge for your pet to stay with you and not a charge for excessive cleaning or damages. All pets will be leashed while outside at all times; pets are required to be kenneled when in the lake homes alone. Please bring your own kennel and food dishes and clean up after your pet immediately.  If there is excessive cleaning or damage during your stay, we will discuss this with you and a charge may be accessed to credit card. Problems with excessive barking or guest complaints may be cause for a pet to be asked to leave. Please avoid damages by not allowing pets on the sofas.

Please purchase your Minnesota fishing license before arriving at the resort.

All guests over age 15 will require a Social Security Number to purchase a license.  Kids 15 and under can fish without a license if there is an adult with license present.
