At Adventure North Resort, we offer cabins with heated ice fishing houses combinations only to our resort guests only. No sleeper ice houses available or rental to guests other than the guests renting cabins.

The ice houses are located off Pine Point of Leech Lake in Trader’s Bay, as well as the Grand View Flats area of the Walker Narrows. We plow the roads leading to your ice house, so you can rest assured that you won’t experience travel troubles.
Let us know when you plan to fish, and Steve will heat up the house and open the fishing holes before you head out on the lake. If you are bringing a portable or wheel house, we’ll plow an area off the road for you to set up.
Need ice fishing gear? We rent sets of gear for $10 a person a day. Each set includes 2 poles and tackle. Plus, we sell fresh bait and tackle, along with premium non-ethanol fuel and ice.
Once you catch the fish, no worries! Steve does all the fish cleaning for our cabin guests! Just let him know if you would like the fish for dinner, or packaged to take home with you. He’ll prepare your fish accordingly!
We do not offer sleeper houses or daily rentals to non-guests. This ensures we have ice houses ready and waiting for our guests.

In addition to ice fishing, we offer plenty of other ways to enjoy the Minnesota winter. There’s snowmobiling, cross country skiing, downhill skiing, and snowshoeing! Be transported by the beauty and the quiet. while enjoying a nature walk through Itasca State Park and the Chippewa National Forest. If you need a break from the outdoor action, the nearby town of Walker, MN provides plenty of choices for dining and shopping.
We accept American Express, Visa, MasterCard and Discover with a 3.5% processing fee. Take advantage of saving by paying with cash, check or debit card.
A deposit of 30% is required at time of reservation, if you would like to send a check deposit we will hold your deposit for ten days. We understand that from time to time guests must cancel their vacation for various reasons and hope you will understand that your deposit will only be refunded if we are able to book all cabins at the original rate for your reservation time, less a $40 cancellation fee. Cancellations after 21 days prior to arrival will result in a full charge of lodging and taxes.
We certainly would prefer to have you visit us so please avoid late cancellations. $35 charge on each returned check. All boats, pontoons and ice houses reserved must be paid for in full, no cancellations after reservation. If the cabin goes un-rented 21 days prior to arrival Adventure North Resort may discount the cabin at our discretion, reducing your deposit by the discounted amount. No refunds for early departure including lodging, boat, and ice house rental.
Early check in for cabins and ice access between 9 am and 12 PM available for 1/2 day rate. Other early arrivals not available. Please make arrangements with the office before arrival.
