Only 17 More Days to Walleye Fish.  Ice Conditions for Ice Fishing Enthusiasts:

Leech Lake Walleye Ice Fishing

Ice Fishing Walleye on Leech Lake, MN

If you’re still eager to get out on the ice, you’re in luck – the ice fishing season is still going strong here at Adventure North Resort on Pine Point, Leech Lake.  Only 17 more days before Walleye and Pike close on February 25th.  Here’s the scoop on our current ice conditions and fishing updates.

Currently, our private lake ice roads in Trader’s Bay have 16 to 18 inches of ice leading out to our heated ice houses located in front of the resort.  Our ice roads are for our cabin resort guests only, helping our guests avoid overcrowding.

Out on the ice, the houses sit on 14 to 15 inches of ice.  While guests are currently walking or using their own ATVs to reach the ice houses, the recent light rain followed by snowfall and low temps, especially at night, will allow us to resume driving directly onto the ice by next weekend.

Fishing reports from departing guests earlier this week have been encouraging, with a variety of catches including perch, walleye, and Northern pike.

For those itching to fish, we offer cabin/icehouse combinations for rent with a three-night minimum.  See our packages @ https://adventurenorthresort.com/ice-fishing-packages/.

Stay tuned for more updates as February progresses.  Only 17 more days before the close of Walleye Fishing – come join us for an unforgettable ice fishing adventure! ❄️🐟 #IceFishing #LeechLake #AdventureNorthResort 🌨️❄️ #LeechLakeFishing #LeechLakeChamberofCommerce #OnlyinMN #IceFishingMagic #WalleyeWonderland #MinnesotaOutdoors 🌨️❄️ #LeechLakeIceFishing #ChillVibesOnly #QuietThrills #IceFishingEscape
